Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday.  We spent the week of Christmas and New Year's in Richmond and visited with lots of family and friends.  Ryan had a great time!

First was Christmas Eve dinner.  Here's Ryan all dressed up with Uncle Scott, now known affectionately as "Gott."  He has a funny smile because there's a cracker in his mouth (a theme in many of his Xmas pictures.)

Ryan and Daddy looking handsome together :)

The happy couple :)

When we woke up Christmas morning, Santa had come :)

First Duke had to investigate...

Then it was Ryan's turn.

Ryan loved his Tigger ("Teegaa") and gave him lots of great hugs.

And more hugs...

The wagon was a big hit too.

Ryan even sat in his wagon to open his stocking.

The duck was a big hit, what a face!

Another favorite was Ryan's new chair from Nana and Papa.

And don't forget more hugs for Tigger...

Hmmm what's this thing?

Ryan likes to greet his stuffed animals by biting their noses.  It's hilarious.  Luckily this is not how he greets any real people.  Here he says hello to Curious George.

Papa is working on teaching Ryan the basics of golf.

Ryan also had a fun visit with his Great-Gran-Honey :)  He was so amazed that she knew how to play and sing "up above" (aka Twinkle Twinkle Little Star).

Yay!

Ryan loved reading in his chair with Aunt "Tina"

The day after Christmas we traveled to Northern VA to visit with more family.  Ryan enjoyed exploring a new place.  Mommy and Daddy enjoyed chasing him around hoping he wouldn't break anything!

Finally, we took an evening to visit the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Festival of Lights.  It was very cold- so Ryan was all bundled up.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
